Yemen holds consultative meetings on banking digitisation and Zinjibar service reforms

Kak Bank, the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank in Yemen, concluded a three‑day consultative forum (July 12‑14) with branch and department managers. The meetings focused on improving institutional performance, enhancing the quality of banking services, and advancing a digital transformation agenda. Recommendations will be turned into concrete action plans, and participants mourned the recently deceased branch manager Ahmed Al‑Jubaili.

In the Abyan governorate's Zinjibar district, community leaders, NGOs and residents gathered on July 15 for a public consultative session. Attendees criticised the deteriorating provision of electricity, water, health, education and agricultural services, and demanded price reductions, security measures against weapons and drugs, continuation of administrative reforms, reconstruction assistance, and greater local employment opportunities. The gathering expressed strong support for Governor Dr. Mukhtar Al‑Rabbash’s anti‑corruption and fiscal reforms.
