Yemen Defense Minister Warns Saudi Arabia of Full Military Readiness and Possible Escalation

Yemen’s Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammed Nasser Al‑Atifi, announced that all branches and formations of the Yemeni armed forces have raised their combat‑readiness level and are prepared to execute directives from Houthi leader Abdul‑Malik al‑Houthi, including the “siege with siege, airports with airports, ports with ports” strategy. He warned the Saudi coalition that it faces two options: withdraw from Yemen or confront a comprehensive escalation that could be taken into the depths of the Kingdom. Al‑Atifi asserted that Yemen now possesses the military capabilities to impose such equations, citing ten years of resistance and the humanitarian suffering caused by the ongoing siege. He accused Saudi Arabia of pursuing a Zionist and American agenda and claimed that Yemen could achieve economic recovery if foreign interference ends.
