Yemen denies ceasefire claim and affirms free movement for southern delegation in Saudi Arabia

Yemeni news agency chief Nasser al‑Amir refuted a recording in which Hamid al‑Fadgham claimed tribal elders had asked for a cease‑fire between his forces and Sanaa, describing the allegation as “one of their lies” and blaming the Saudi‑backed “special committee” for escalating actions.

Yemen’s minister of social affairs, Mukhtar al‑Yaf'i, told Saudi newspaper Okaz that the southern delegation in Riyadh faces no travel restrictions, enjoys “generous hospitality” from King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed and Defence Minister Prince Khalid, and is free to meet political and social figures while preparing for the southern dialogue.
