Yemen: Report documents 59,000 civilian casualties

The Yemenian Network for Rights and Freedoms has released a report documenting extensive human rights violations against civilians in Yemen. The report states that Houthi militias have caused the deaths and injuries of approximately 59,000 civilians between January 2015 and the first half of 2026.

According to the documented statistics, there were 17,115 direct killings, including 1,414 women and 1,156 children. Additionally, the report recorded 41,789 injuries, involving 6,710 women and 5,024 children.

The report also highlights the severe impact of landmines, noting that they have caused 1,637 deaths and 6,135 injuries. Among those injured by mines, 798 individuals suffered permanent disabilities or limb amputations, including 397 children.
