Yemen Tribal Alliance leader condemns Houthi violations in Taiz

Sheikh Abdul Latif al-Qabli Nimran al-Muradi, head of the Yemen Tribal Alliance, issued a statement on October 25, 2026, condemning what he described as crimes and violations committed by Houthi militias against civilians in the Taiz governorate.

The statement specifically highlighted the shelling of residential neighborhoods, the imposition of sieges, killings, abductions, and the collection of illegal levies in the Al-Hujariyah regions. Al-Muradi characterized these actions as attempts to break the will of the republican base and erase Yemeni identity.

He praised the resilience of the people of Taiz, stating that the battle in the governorate is a struggle for the dignity and existence of all free Yemenis. He emphasized that the tribal alliance views any assault on Taiz as an assault on the dignity of the Republic of Yemen.
