Yemen weather forecast predicts expanding rainfall and sunny conditions

Astronomer Adnan al-Shawafi predicts that Yemen will experience mostly sunny weather on Saturday, September 26, 2026, accompanied by active northeasterly winds across internal plateaus and deserts.

Rainfall is expected to expand relatively, with scattered showers of varying intensity hitting parts of the southwestern highlands, particularly in the Taiz and Ibb governorates. These conditions may extend to parts of Tihama and adjacent western highlands, as well as some eastern coastal plains and the Socotra archipelago.

The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has previously issued alerts for fishermen and sailors near Socotra regarding sea disturbances and high waves. Authorities have also advised citizens and drivers to avoid valleys, flood paths, and mountain slopes where thunderstorms and reduced visibility due to fog may occur.
