Yemen weather forecast predicts rain and temperature fluctuations

The Meteorological Center of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Yemen. Coastal areas are expected to experience hot daytime temperatures and moderate conditions at night, with scattered rainfall possible over the Socotra Archipelago and western coastal plains.

In the mountain highlands, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and moderate, with a possibility of thunderstorms in various areas of the western slopes, as well as parts of Hadramaut and Shabwah. Desert and plateau regions are forecasted to remain generally dry and clear to partly cloudy, with hot days and moderate nights. Winds in these areas may be active, potentially causing sand and dust storms.

The center advised citizens, particularly children and the elderly in mountainous regions, to take precautions against cold temperatures during the night and early morning. Additionally, a maritime warning was issued for fishermen and sea travelers regarding wind intensity and sea disturbances in the southwestern coasts, western coasts, and the Bab al-Mandab strait.
