The Yemeni military has reported a significant escalation in combat against Houthi forces across multiple fronts, including Taiz, Lahj, Al-Bayda, and Marib. Yemeni armed forces spokesperson Colonel Majed al-Nazili stated that the military executed 468 operations targeting Houthi personnel and equipment, resulting in hundreds of casualties and the destruction of various military assets.

In Taiz, the military conducted 15 airstrikes against Houthi positions in several districts, including Al-Ka'awish and Hayfan. These strikes reportedly neutralized dozens of Houthi fighters and destroyed military vehicles. Additionally, the military reported destroying a sophisticated 'Jawala' air defense system in Mocha, which officials claim was updated by experts from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

In other regions, airstrikes targeted high-value military objectives in Sanaa and 11 locations in Saada. The military also reported successful operations in the western coastal areas, including the destruction of artillery batteries in Al-Wazi'iyah.

Amidst the fighting, Houthi elements reportedly infiltrated Lahj governorate and detonated an explosive device on the Taiz-Aden highway. Furthermore, local reports from Dimnat Khadir in Taiz indicate that Houthi security personnel assaulted medical staff at local hospitals following an influx of wounded fighters from the frontlines.
