Fighting between Yemen’s government-aligned forces and the Houthi militia has escalated across several fronts, including Taiz, Hodeidah, and Marib. The National Resistance Forces reported conducting strikes near Hodeidah that killed 14 Houthi militants.

In the Hodeidah governorate, Houthi artillery fire in the Hays district reportedly forced 104 families to displace from Jabal Dubas. Additionally, Houthi attacks targeted the Al-Wadea border crossing, destroying four transport trucks, and a drone strike hit a warehouse in the Al-Abr district of Hadramout.

In response to the escalating violence, the Presidential Leadership Council met in Riyadh and approved additional deterrence measures against the Houthis. The council emphasized its commitment to restoring state institutions and addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
