Yemeni government forces and local resistance have achieved significant territorial gains in Taiz governorate following intense military operations. Key successes include the capture of the Sam'a Fort and the strategic Jebel al-Ja'sha heights, as well as regaining control over the Al-Zakira and Al-Maqarama areas in the Al-Shamaytat and Al-Mawaqit districts.

In response to Houthi advances, the Yemeni military conducted 257 precision strikes targeting command centers, ammunition depots, and supply lines across several governorates, including Sana'a, Taiz, and Al-Jawf. These operations reportedly resulted in at least 700 Houthi casualties and the destruction or disabling of 170 military vehicles.

Simultaneously, Yemeni air defenses successfully intercepted and shot down four Houthi drones on the Al-Shahla front in eastern Al-Jawf. While government forces have regained the initiative in several sectors, heavy fighting continues in the western fronts of Taiz, specifically around Jebel Han and Al-Kadha, as both sides maintain high levels of military escalation.
