Yemeni military releases footage of large-scale operation on West Coast

The Yemeni military war media has released footage documenting a large-scale military operation titled ‘By Allah, He is more severe in punishment and more devastating’. Conducted between September 3 and September 11, the operation targeted Saudi military deployments across several districts on Yemen’s West Coast.

According to the released information, the operation resulted in the removal of Saudi deployments from six districts within the Taiz and Al Hudaydah governorates, covering an estimated area of 5,400 square kilometers. The military reported targeting seven military divisions comprising 38 brigades. The clashes reportedly resulted in hundreds of casualties, including dead, wounded, and prisoners, as well as the liberation of Yemeni armed forces members who had been held by Saudi-aligned forces for several years.

The footage depicts advancing units in the Al-Hajib front and retreats in the Al-Wazi'iyah district, despite the presence of armored vehicles and heavy equipment. The reports also highlight the seizure of significant quantities of weapons, ammunition, and military machinery, alongside claims of humanitarian treatment of wounded prisoners and captives.
