Yemeni military advances in Taiz and Bab al-Mandab during 'Dawn of Yemen' operation

The Yemeni military has intensified its 'Dawn of Yemen' operation, marking its third week of offensive actions aimed at reclaiming state institutions and Sanaa. Significant territorial gains have been reported in the Taiz governorate, where government forces seized control of the Al-Sanamat and Al-Sarari areas on the Sabr front.

In the Bab al-Mandab axis, the Giants Forces and Nation's Shield reportedly secured control of Al-Ardi hill. Military reports indicate high-intensity combat across multiple fronts, including the western coast and southern fronts in Shabwa. The military claims to have conducted over 1,100 precise targeting operations within a 24-hour window, resulting in the neutralization of hundreds of Houthi fighters and the destruction of numerous military vehicles.

In response to these losses, local sources report that Houthi forces are deploying reinforcements, including personnel from security sectors, to the Taiz fronts. Meanwhile, government forces held a funeral for Brigadier General Ahmed Bahibah and four other officers killed during recent engagements in Marib.
