Yemen's Shabwah Governor Awad Mohamed bin Al‑Wazir backs Bayhan development projects
Governor Awad Mohamed bin Al‑Wazir of Yemen’s Shabwah Governorate said the local authority is fully committed to supporting service and development projects throughout the governorate, with priority given to Bayhan district.
In a meeting with the committee overseeing the “Al‑Nahr” projects, he received briefings from committee members, including Abdulrabih Hishla Nasser, secretary‑general of the local council, and Colonel Adel Ali Al‑Masabi, commander of the 30th Infantry Brigade. The committee highlighted the need to repair and rehabilitate the road linking Al‑Ulya city to Bayhan and the Al‑Nahr area.
The governor ordered the engineering department and the public works office to conduct an urgent field survey and prepare technical studies for the road work. He also addressed educational needs, directing the engineering department to coordinate with the education office and Kuwaiti donors to assess and design new classroom facilities for local students.
Committee members thanked the governor for his prompt attention and pledged continued cooperation to improve infrastructure and basic services in Bayhan and other districts.
