Yemen's State Minister Declares No Future for Iran and Houthis in Yemen

State Minister Mohammed Nasseb Al‑Amri addressed a forceful statement to Iran and its Yemeni proxy, the Houthis, asserting that there is no future for their involvement in Yemen. He condemned the Iranian‑backed project as a pursuit of domination rather than nation‑building, citing extensive damage to airports, ports, oil facilities and other infrastructure across the country. Al‑Amri stressed that Yemen’s destiny will be determined by its own people, rejecting external meddling and the Houthis’ breach of agreements and treaties.

The minister highlighted that the Iranian agenda has only brought destruction and isolation to Yemen, urging a rejection of foreign‑driven agendas in favor of sovereign, lawful governance.
