Yemen's Taiz Governorate Road Rehabilitation Project Launched

Yemen's Minister of Public Works and Roads, Engineer Hussein Al‑Aqriabi, together with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, inaugurated a 26‑kilometre rehabilitation of the Nushma‑Hobban Quds road in the Taiz governorate. The project is financed by the Road Maintenance Fund and carried out by the Public Roads and Bridges Authority, with work including resurfacing of road layers, bridge repairs, and installation of traffic‑safety signs.

The upgrade is intended to improve traffic safety, ease travel for thousands of residents, and stimulate economic activity by better connecting populated areas and facilitating access to essential services.
