Yemen's Tribes Urged to Unite as Country's Military Capacity Grows

Yemeni Minister of Endowments Sheikh Turki Abdullah Al‑Wad'i called on the country's historic tribes to unite behind the political leadership, emphasizing their role in defending Islam and opposing Houthi projects. He urged the tribes to draw on their legacy to restore Yemen’s security and cited Qur'anic verses urging unity.

Hebrew media reported that Yemen’s armed forces now possess the capabilities for a prolonged, multi‑front war, citing expanded missile, air and naval assets, a large manpower base, and recent attacks on two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. The report highlighted disruptions to oil shipments through the Bab al‑Mandab strait and warned of strategic challenges for Saudi Arabia.
