YENİ Parti reaches 600,000 members and 539 million TL budget

YENİ Parti Chairman Özgür Özel announced that the new political party has surpassed 600,000 members within 18 days of its membership campaign. The party has also reported a budget of 539 million TL, funded by 152,000 donors and initial membership fees.

During the party's first Party Assembly meeting at its new headquarters, Özel outlined several key organizational policies. He committed to a three-term limit for all leadership positions and pledged to resign if the party fails to become the first or leading party in the next election. He emphasized that the party's leadership will be directly elected by its members.

Özel also addressed the recent passenger ship accident in Girne, stating that a six-person delegation has been sent to the region to monitor the situation. He called for a full investigation into the incident to ensure those responsible are held accountable. Additionally, he dismissed rumors of returning to the CHP, stating that YENİ Parti will continue on its own path.
