Yeni Parti spokesperson addresses CHP closure comments

Zeynel Emre, Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson for Yeni Parti, addressed recent comments made by former CHP Izmir Deputy Mustafa Balbay regarding the potential closure of the Republican People's Party (CHP). Following a Central Executive Board meeting led by Özgür Özel, Emre stated that while Balbay's remarks could be viewed as a lapse in judgment under different circumstances, the CHP has effectively already been closed.

During the press conference, Emre also provided updates on Yeni Parti's organizational progress, noting that the party has completed organization in 78 of 81 provinces and 872 districts, with membership reaching 632,000. Additionally, Emre commented on international issues, condemning the situation in Gaza as genocide and criticizing a state ceremony held in Serbia for Ratko Mladic, whom he referred to as the ‘Bosnian butcher’.
