Yeongju City promotes local agricultural products at LA Korean Festival
Yeongju City participated in the 53rd LA Korean Festival in Los Angeles, showcasing 35 different agricultural and specialty food items from seven local companies. The exhibition, valued at approximately 170 million won, featured products ranging from traditional red ginseng and wild ginseng processed goods to modern items like granola, perilla oil, fruit jams, and juices.
The city aims to leverage the growing interest in K-Food to increase brand recognition and expand export channels for Yeongju’s local products among both the Korean-American community and local American consumers. Officials stated they intend to provide continuous support for local food companies to facilitate their entry into overseas markets.
