Yeongyang County launches 2026 H.O.T. Chili Festival in Seoul

Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province will hold the 2026 Yeongyang Chili H.O.T. Festival from July 27 to 29 at Seoul Plaza. The three‑day event showcases the region’s premium chili peppers, chili powder and other farm products through direct sales to metropolitan consumers.

The festival combines agricultural marketing with cultural and tourism promotion, featuring a chili‑themed garden, cultural‑tourism exhibition hall, food‑experience booths, ecological‑tourism displays and citizen‑participation programs. County head O Do‑chang said the festival aims to expand stable market channels for producers, strengthen quality control, and raise the Yeongyang brand’s value by letting consumers taste fresh products and interact directly with growers.
