Yijing X9 flagship SUV rolls off Chengdu line as interior details are revealed
On July 20, the first production unit of the Yijing X9, the Chinese automaker's new family‑flagship SUV, left the Chengdu factory, signalling the start of the vehicle’s market launch phase. The Chengdu plant has been upgraded to a fully automated, zero‑emission line with AI‑vision inspection, extensive robotics and digital quality controls.
The X9 is equipped with Huawei’s latest ADAS suite, including the ADS 5 dual‑laser lidar system and the HarmonySpace 6 operating system, which together power the vehicle’s autonomous‑driving functions. An interior preview shows a 17.2‑inch dual‑screen cockpit, a laser‑projected head‑up display, and a spacious cabin fitted with multiple cup‑holders and a rear‑entertainment ceiling screen. The model is slated for delivery in the third quarter of 2024, with the brand planning five additional products over the next three years.
