Yogi Adityanath distributes flood relief in Chitrakoot
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Chitrakoot to assess the impact of severe flooding caused by the Mandakini River. Following an aerial survey of the affected areas, the Chief Minister distributed relief materials to 800 families.
During the distribution program, Adityanath provided land allotment certificates for housing to homeless families and disbursed relief funds from the disaster relief fund. He assured affected citizens, including farmers, traders, and local residents, that the government would provide all possible assistance for their losses.
Addressing the crowd, the Chief Minister criticized previous administrations, alleging that prior to 2017, flood relief funds were misappropriated and victims received minimal aid. He stated that while previous relief efforts were insufficient, the current administration is providing approximately 50 kg of relief material per family.
