Yogini Ekadashi 2026 Observances in India
Yogini Ekadashi, a Hindu fasting day, is observed in July 2026. The Smarta tradition marks the fast on 10 July, while Vaishnava and ISKCON followers observe it on 11 July.
For those who fasted on 10 July, the parana (fast‑breaking) window is 2:03 a.m. to 4:42 a.m. IST on 11 July. Those who kept the fast on 11 July may break it between 6:08 a.m. and 8:47 a.m. IST on 12 July. The observance includes worship of Lord Vishnu and Lakshmi, offering yellow cloth, food, water, and donations to Brahmins and the needy before partaking of the meal. It is believed to generate merit equivalent to feeding about 88,000 Brahmins and to expiate past sins.
