Indonesia's meteorological agency BMKG forecast that the entire Yogyakarta Special Region will experience largely cloudy conditions on Thursday, July 2, 2026, with temperatures ranging from 19 °C to 30 °C and humidity reaching up to 99 % in several districts. The agency advised residents to carry umbrellas or rain jackets in case of light rain and to dress warmly during cooler night hours.
In the capital city of Jakarta, BMKG also predicts a day dominated by cloud cover, including thick cloud layers by midday, with temperatures between 25 °C and 34 °C. No severe weather warnings were issued for either region, and officials encouraged the public to stay hydrated and monitor updates through official channels.
