Yogyakarta Mobile Driving License Renewal Service Launches July 25, 2026

On Saturday, 25 July 2026, the Yogyakarta Regional Police deployed mobile SIM (driver's licence) renewal vans across the province. In Sleman, the mobile unit operated from Sleman City Hall Mall between 19:00‑21:00, while in Yogyakarta City the same hours were offered. Kulon Progo held its service in front of the local government office from 18:00‑21:00.

In Gunungkidul, the SIM Keliling program visited the Rongkop sub‑district office and the Argosari market parking area, providing a Saturday Night Service from 19:00 onward for residents unable to attend daytime hours. The service covered extensions for SIM A and SIM C categories, with additional options such as SIMMADE, SIMPITU, SIM Station and Saturday Night Service at various locations throughout July.

Drivers are required to bring identity documents, the current licence, a health certificate and a psychological test result. The mobile service aims to make licence renewal more accessible for the public in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
