Yogyakarta sees mostly sunny weather with occasional haze on July 7, 2026

The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecasts that the Special Region of Yogyakarta will be dominated by clear skies on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, with pockets of haze in some districts.

Kulon Progo is expected to remain sunny throughout the day with temperatures between 21 °C and 29 °C and humidity ranging from 70 % to 95 %. In Sleman, the air will be hazy, temperatures from 20 °C to 30 °C and humidity between 59 % and 94 %. Bantul and the city of Yogyakarta are also forecast to experience haze, with the city recording higher temperatures of 21 °C‑32 °C and humidity of 57 %‑96 %. Gunungkidul will stay sunny with 21 °C‑30 °C and humidity of 64 %‑94 %.

BMKG advises residents to stay alert for sudden weather changes, keep hydrated, especially during the warmer midday periods, and monitor official updates for any revisions to the forecast.
