Yokosuka Night Market launches July 24 with music, craft beer and local food

The Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market in Kanagawa’s city of Yokosuka will host its first Night Market on July 24, 2026, from 16:00 to 21:00. The event aims to showcase local products, boost nighttime activity and create a positive economic ripple for the community.

Attendees can enjoy live music and DJ sets featuring local musicians and the organizers of the Yokosuka Reggae Bash, RUEED and LUKE. Six craft‑beer breweries – Yokosuka Beer, Horyu‑san Beer, Miura Peninsula Beer, Roto Brewery, Grandline Brewing and Minami‑Yokohama Beer Lab – will serve their brews, with the first 200 guests receiving a free pint and happy‑hour discounts. Free grilled chicken from Miyazaki’s “Miyazaki Jitō‑chō” and local gourmet stalls will also be available.

The market is part of a broader effort by Yokosuka City to position itself as an “music, sports and entertainment” hub and to combine tourism with local culture, continuing the monthly morning market that began in May 2025.
