Yongin Special City to host Singal O-geori Urban Regeneration Festival

Yongin Special City will host the ‘2026 Singal O-geori Urban Regeneration Street Festival’ on the 24th. Held along the Singalcheon stream area in Giheung-gu, the event aims to share the achievements of urban regeneration projects and revitalize the local area through various performances and experiences.

The festival features street performances, cultural art experiences, a children's flea market, and food trucks. Notable musical guests Ali and Shin Yong-jae are scheduled to perform. Community-led programs include art walls, giant puppet displays, and traditional folk performances. The city plans to operate the event as an eco-friendly festival by using multi-use containers to reduce disposable waste.
