YOSHIKI and GACKT to co-star in Fuji TV drama ‘Black Trick’

Musicians YOSHIKI and GACKT are set to make their first joint appearance in the Fuji TV drama ‘Black Trick: The Lawyer Who Manipulates Judgment’. YOSHIKI will appear as himself in the final episode, scheduled to air on September 28.

The collaboration originated from social media interactions between the two artists. After GACKT jokingly asked YOSHIKI on X (formerly Twitter) if he would appear in the show, YOSHIKI responded that he would participate for about 10 seconds if GACKT wished.

GACKT revealed that the arrangement led to YOSHIKI flying in from the United States to Japan for the filming. Due to the unexpected nature of the appearance, production staff had prepared alternative scripts in case YOSHIKI could not make it, but he arrived as planned.
