Yoshinoya shortens second‑wave Dragon Quest Walk set sales period to one week

Yoshinoya announced that the second wave of its collaboration with the mobile game Dragon Quest Walk will be on sale for only one week. The "Dragon Quest Walk Set" – which includes an original figurine – was originally scheduled to run from July 16 10:00 to July 29 20:00, but the end date has been moved up to July 22 24:00. As with the first wave, daily sales are capped and stores will stop selling once the day's quota is reached, resuming at 10:00 the following day.

The first‑wave set sold out quickly, prompting the company to adjust the schedule for the second wave. Fans reacted with a mix of disappointment over the shortened period, concern that the limited supply could fuel resale, and frustration at having to race to purchase during weekday hours. Some commenters welcomed the flexible response and expressed support for Yoshinoya’s continued collaboration with the game.
