Yossi Cohen reveals Mossad tactics against Iranian nuclear program

Former Mossad director Yossi Cohen has revealed specific intelligence tactics used to disrupt the Iranian nuclear program. During a podcast with The Times, Cohen described a psychological operation where Israeli intelligence sent flowers to the homes of Iranian nuclear scientists. The message accompanying the flowers, which communicated that the agency knew their identities and work, was intended to induce fear and pressure individuals to abandon their roles.

Cohen stated that this method was not motivated by vengeance but by a preventive imperative to stop threats to Israel and global security. He also disclosed that Israeli agents had visited the Fordo nuclear site on numerous occasions to gain intelligence and better understand the facilities. Cohen remarked that the previous American bombing of the site represented the realization of long-held objectives.
