A young woman was killed in Cocoyoc, municipality of Yautepec in the Mexican state of Morelos. The victim suffered more than ten gunshot wounds, according to local reports released on 7 July 2026.
Authorities have not yet released details about a motive or a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
