Yourtravelshop.com Ltd enters liquidation after 22 years

Yourtravelshop.com Ltd, an Ilford‑based travel firm that organised Hajj, Umrah and Ziyarat pilgrimages for more than three decades, was placed into voluntary liquidation on 21 July 2026. Joint liquidators Donald Harper and Andrew Maak of The Insolvency Practice Limited were appointed, and the company’s website now shows no available trips. Prices for the sacred journeys ranged from £1,200 to £1,875, and it is unclear whether previously booked departures will be honoured.

The collapse follows a string of UK travel agency failures this year, including Strachan Travel Ltd, which wound up after 40 years, and Groupia Ltd and its subsidiaries, which entered administration in June.
