Following a provincial competition, the top projects received significant financial support: Grâce Marawata’s printing business, Sally Burundi Company, received 23 million Burundian francs; Cadeau Keza’s Gift Studio multimedia project received 22 million; Eric Nkunzimana’s soap cooperative received 21 million; Amedé Michel Kwizera’s audio production project received 19 million; and Alvella Kezakimana’s leatherwork project received 17.5 million.
In Senegal, the Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship for Women and Youth (DER/FJ) distributed 13,450,000 francs to fund 75 development projects for women in Ndiassane. Abdoulaye Niane, the General Delegate of DER/FJ, stated that this initiative aligns with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye’s directives to accelerate economic support and financing for women across the national territory.
