Youth community initiatives launch in Cameroon and Senegal

In Cameroon, the second edition of the Tradex Champions League concluded in Lobo, Lekié, with Lion Vert defeating Petit Fils FC in a penalty shootout. The event, which drew over 5,000 spectators to the Lobo municipal stadium, featured appearances by former international players such as Pierre Womé Nlend and Jean II Makoun. Beyond the football competition, the tournament served as a community mobilization tool, providing school supplies to children and gas cylinders to households.

In Senegal, the 2026 edition of Stars Vacances was officially launched at the Kédougou Bioparc. Coordinated by Mohamed Baba Touré, the initiative aims to provide a structured environment for youth during the holiday period through sports and cultural activities. The program focuses on social cohesion, talent detection, and offering constructive engagement for young people in the region.
