Youth initiatives and gatherings reported in Spain
Various youth-focused initiatives and gatherings are taking place in Spain. In Salamanca, fifteen young people from the Diocese of Segorbe-Castellón participated in the JRC (Youth for the Kingdom of Christ) National Meeting held from September 25 to 27. The event, aimed at individuals aged 17 to 35, featured educational lectures on theology, psychology, and faith, alongside communal prayer and social activities.
In Jaén, the municipality of Puente Genil is taking a leading role in the launch of the PANUPO Youth Participation Academy. This Erasmus+ Youth project, coordinated by Asociación Europa 2020, aims to create structured opportunities for young people to engage in local decision-making. The initiative involves collaboration between Puente Genil and several other municipalities, including Cabra, Marmolejo, and Gines, to foster active civic participation.
