Youth summer camps in Andalusia host nearly 1,500 participants

Youth summer programs across Andalusia have hosted nearly 1,500 participants through various initiatives focused on personal development and nature-based learning. In Jaén, the Jaenícolas camp in Cazorla brought together approximately 30 young people aged 18 to 30 for activities centered on mental health, emotional well-being, and social skills, including workshops on laughter therapy and communication.

Broadening the scope, the Instituto Andaluz de la Juventud (IAJ) reported that its summer camps reached a total of 1,498 participants across the provinces of Granada, Huelva, and Jaén. Jaén saw the highest engagement with 653 participants across ten activities. In Huelva, 280 young people from Alicante participated in sessions at Finca Villaonuba, organized by the Marist Brothers of the Mediterranean Province, as part of a program designed to promote values and healthy lifestyle habits through contact with the natural environment.
