Youth4Climate awards 50 young innovators from 30 countries

Fifty young innovators from more than 30 countries have been recognized for their environmental and climate solutions during the Youth4Climate Call for Solutions 2026. The awards ceremony took place in Rome on October 22, organized by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The selected projects address diverse global challenges, including floating agriculture in Bangladesh, solar-powered water access in Colombia, innovative materials from pineapple leaves in Benin, and coral reef restoration in the Maldives.

In addition to the awards, the initiative included a Study Tour that connected participants with Italian institutions, universities, research centers, and businesses to strengthen their projects and foster collaboration.
