Ypê graduates 67 trainees in São Paulo industry education programs
Ypê held a graduation ceremony in Amparo, São Paulo, for 67 participants of its two education initiatives. The EducarY program, focused on literacy and completing secondary education, saw 35 collaborators graduate, while the Aprendiz Técnico apprenticeship, run with SENAI Jaguariúna for ages 17‑22, awarded diplomas to 32 young people trained in areas such as electro‑electronics, electro‑mechanics, injection molding and line‑assistant roles.
Since its inception in 2018, EducarY has educated 175 collaborators across six cohorts and will expand to Salto (SP), Anápolis (GO) and Goiânia (GO) in 2025. Aprendiz Técnico, relaunched in 2023, has trained 65 youths in seven cohorts and broadened its course catalog. Company executives highlighted the role of education in “transforming lives and building the future” and linked the programs to Brazil’s need to qualify 14 million industrial workers by 2027.
