YPF and Egger launch new apprenticeship programs in Argentina

YPF announced the third edition of its "Jóvenes en Ingeniería" program, inviting recent engineering graduates from fields such as mechanical, electrical, civil and chemical to apply online. Applicants must have at least two years of experience in engineering management or processes, intermediate to advanced English, and be willing to travel to project sites. The program aims to integrate participants into YPF’s infrastructure projects, with entry planned for September 2026.

Egger celebrated the graduation of ten apprentices from its learning program, including the fourth cohort of mechanical‑maintenance technicians and the first cohort of electrical‑maintenance technicians. The ceremony held at the Concordia plant highlighted the company’s commitment to regional talent development, featuring a tree‑planting tradition to symbolize sustainability. Since its start in 2020, the program has produced more than 40 graduates, combining theoretical and practical training to meet the company’s technical workforce needs.

Both initiatives reflect a growing focus among Argentine firms on building a skilled labor pool and expanding employment opportunities for young professionals.
