Yucatán Government Defends 15.4 million Peso Contract with ADN Diferente

The Secretariat of Administration and Finance of the Yucatán state government said that contracts for communication, production and advertising services awarded to ADN Diferente S.A. de C.V. were carried out in strict compliance with the Mexican Constitution and state procurement law. According to official accounting records, the state‑run Tele Sistema Yucatán paid 15,377,946 pesos to the firm during the 2025 fiscal year, and the Secretariat rejected claims that the amount was higher.

The agency also noted similar direct‑award contracts with other public bodies, including a more than 10 million‑peso agreement with the Institute for Promotion of Fairs in Yucatán and a 4.4 million‑peso contract from the Yucatán Health Secretariat for public‑health messaging. All payments were made under the accrued‑expense model required by the General Accounting Law and were documented with verifiable service delivery.

The government emphasized that the procurement procedures followed the applicable statutes, citing article 134 of the Constitution and the state's General Law of Communication Social, and that the information is publicly available through transparency portals and the state’s public account.
