Yucatán Governor coordinates with SHCP on strategic projects

Yucatán Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena met with Bertha Gómez Castro, the Undersecretary of Expenditures at the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), to coordinate strategic projects and budget management for the state.

The meeting, held at the National Palace, focused on the integration of the 2027 Federal Expenditure Budget. A key highlight was the presentation of the Metropolitan Welfare Plan, a priority initiative involving an investment of 4.49 billion pesos over the next three years to address infrastructure and long-term metropolitan development.

Discussions also covered essential state agenda items, including the public health system, hospital equipment, medicine supply, and the expansion of medical services within the state, alongside ongoing social welfare and infrastructure projects.
