Yung Miami releases debut solo album Watch Dis

Rapper Yung Miami has released her debut solo studio album, titled “Watch Dis!”, through Uptown Records and Republic Records. The 21-track project marks her first major release as an independent artist following the disbandment of the rap duo City Girls.

The album features an extensive list of collaborators, including Travis Scott, Quavo, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Summer Walker, Rick Ross, and Trina. A notable highlight is the single “Spend Dat,” which has achieved platinum certification and previously peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. The project also includes a remix of “Spend Dat” featuring international artists Davido, Shenseea, and Vybz Kartel.

Beyond the music, the album addresses the public fallout between Yung Miami and her former City Girls partner, JT. The track “Dear JT” serves as a personal message regarding their fractured friendship, with Miami describing the songwriting process as a form of therapy to process their growing apart.
