Yuzuru Hanyu and Winnie the Pooh announce special collaboration

Professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu is collaborating with Winnie the Pooh to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the character's original debut. The project, titled ‘SHOWER OF HEART - Kagayaku Hikari no Present -’, features over 100 types of limited-edition merchandise.

Kodansha has announced a special memory book that includes a plush Winnie the Pooh wearing miniature versions of Hanyu’s iconic skating costumes, ‘Seimei’ and ‘Ballade No. 1’. The book contains 40 pages of photos, including rare shots of Hanyu with his personal Pooh collection, and an exclusive long-form interview.

Other items include acrylic stands, keychains featuring original illustrations, and special plush toys. The collaboration event is scheduled to begin on October 2 at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in Tokyo, before touring six cities across Japan, including Kyoto, Aichi, Okayama, Fukuoka, and Miyagi.
