Yuzuru Hanyu collaborates with Winnie the Pooh for special memory book

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Winnie the Pooh original debut in 2026, Kodansha is releasing a special memory book titled ‘To Winnie the Pooh: Yuzuru Hanyu and Winnie the Pooh Memory Book’. The publication features an exclusive long-form interview with professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, discussing his personal connection and bond with the character throughout his competitive career and into his professional life.

The memory book is a made-to-order product that includes a Winnie the Pooh plush toy wearing miniature versions of Hanyu’s iconic skating costumes, ‘SEIMEI’ and ‘Ballade No. 1’. Additional bonuses include a large poster featuring Hanyu with his personal Winnie the Pooh collection and a reproduction of a handwritten letter addressed to the character. Reservations for the set are open until October 20, 2026.
