Yuzuru Hanyu stars in Winnie the Pooh 100th anniversary video

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the original Winnie the Pooh works, Walt Disney Japan has released a special celebration video featuring professional figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu. The video depicts a bond between Hanyu and the character, showing them walking hand-in-hand through the Hundred Acre Wood.

The footage begins with Hanyu looking through an album of his skating career in a park before transitioning into the forest setting. The collaboration is part of the “SHOWER OF HEART” project, which includes a special collection of merchandise. An exhibition related to this collaboration will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA in Tokyo from October 14 to 30, 2026, before touring other Japanese cities including Kyoto, Aichi, Okayama, Fukuoka, and Miyagi through mid-2027.
