Yuzuru Hanyu Winnie the Pooh memory book announced

Kodansha has announced the release of a special memory book titled ‘To Pooh: Yuzuru Hanyu and Winnie the Pooh Memory Book,’ which includes a Winnie the Pooh plush toy wearing miniature versions of Hanyu’s iconic skating costumes. The set features recreations of the ‘SEIMEI’ and ‘Ballade No. 1’ outfits, designed under the supervision of the original costume designers.

The product is available for made-to-order reservation until October 20, 2026. The memory book contains 40 pages of photography, including relaxed shots of Hanyu at Ice Rink Sendai and outdoors, alongside an exclusive long-form interview. Additional items include a reproduction of a handwritten letter from Hanyu to Winnie the Pooh and a large poster.

To coincide with the reservation period, physical displays of the Winnie the Pooh plush in its miniature costumes will be held at eight selected bookstores across Japan, including locations in Sapporo, Sendai, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Urayasu, from September 4 to October 20, 2026.
