Zach Charbonnet expected to return for Seahawks against Chiefs

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet is expected to make his season debut this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Head coach Mike Macdonald announced that Charbonnet will participate in a full week of practice following his recovery from a torn ACL suffered during the January divisional playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Charbonnet’s return follows reconstructive knee surgery in February. His absence has forced Emanuel Wilson to serve as the team’s primary half-back option. Macdonald noted that there is a possibility Charbonnet will see action in some capacity during the upcoming matchup.
