Zadar County announces major infrastructure and health center projects

Zadar County officials have announced several major infrastructure and development projects across the region. County Prefect Josip Bilaver reported progress on the relocation of the railway line in Bibinje, noting that a location permit has been obtained and further coordination with HŽ Infrastruktura is underway.

In Benkovac, energy renovation works are progressing at the St. Anthony Health Center. The project, valued at approximately 1.3 million euros, is funded by the European Union's National Recovery and Resilience Plan and Zadar County. The works include installing new facades, windows, and a heating and cooling system using heat pumps, with a scheduled completion date of November 30, 2026.

Additional regional updates include the establishment of a new high-speed catamaran line between Zadar and Ancona by Jadrolinija, upcoming tenders for water supply networks in the Zadar area, and planned capital investments in port infrastructure.
