Zadar launches renovation program for historical center

The City of Zadar has received 10 applications for its first public call to co-finance the renovation of facades and courtyards within the city's historical and cultural core.

The program, managed by the Department for Culture and Sports, has allocated a total of 300,000 euros for these improvements. Individual applicants can receive up to 30,000 euros, covering up to 85 percent of eligible costs.

Proposed projects include cleaning, repairing, and painting facades, removing graffiti, and restoring stone elements or courtyard features. A commission will now review the documentation and conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with conservation requirements.
